EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Lyta was born on the 4th day of July, 1998. He grew up in Ajegunle, Lagos State although he is a native of Kwara State, Western Nigeria. Nothing is known about the singer's educational Attainment or family background at the time this Biographical Data was compiled.
MUSIC CAREER
Before the fame, Lyta had always been a lover of music. Back in Ajegunle, he was part of an Islamic Music group known as Ile Kewu. However, Lyta’s story changed when he got a Record Label deal with one industry boss, Olamide, who is the owner of YBNL Record Label.
On the 3rd of February, 2018, Lyta got signed to YBNL Records music label alongside Label Mate, ‘Limerick’ and kicksarted his music career fully with Godspeed. He did the remix of his hit song titled Time with his Label Boss, Olamide. The remix of the song brought the young lad to a much wider audience. In May of 2019, Lyta parted ways with YBNL Nation due to disagreements over his contract and personal issues. He then joined Doro Musik Gang and released a new song called "Monalisa" on July 12, 2019. The music video, directed by Director K, quickly racked up over 500,000 views in just a month.
Soon after, Davido reached out to Lyta to collaborate on an official remix of "Monalisa". They flew to Dakar to record the remix and shoot the music video. The remix dropped on August 30, 2019, and ‘Elias Light’, of Rolling Stone magazine, praised the song as a unique blend of emotions.
Working with Davido helped Lyta gain more recognition in the music industry. Lyta then released a new Afrobeat track called "Worry" on December 6, 2019, produced by Killer Tunes. The music video for "Worry" was shot in London by Simplicity Visual Studios. After these moments, Lyta continued to pursue his career, trying to take it to the next possible step he can. Since his career, He has worked with industry colleagues such as Davido, Naira Marley and more others.

– In 2019, Lyta left YBNL Record Label with a video released later on, with Lyta saying that he never had a signed agreement with Olamide, that Olamide was just helping him. He said and I quote; “I didn't have a written contract with Olamide, Olamide dissociating with me happened when my dad requested for olamide's number says he wants to speak with him, so when I reached out to Olamide he said I should find out myself what my dad want to say.
When I told my dad what his reply was, he said alright just tell him that someone wants to sponsor your music career. As I messaged OLAMIDE regarding what my dad said, his reply was "if that's the best for you I wish you good luck". I was confused about his reply. I didn't know what to say so I said thank you sir and that was how I left.
As time went on fans started blãsting me saying I no longer do music, that all I do is change hairstyles. At this moment I don't know what to do, I am just depressed”.
– In 2020, Lyta joined a record label called Marlian Records, owned by Naira Marley. He released a new song called "Hold Me Down" (also known as "Omo Gidi") under this label. The music video for the song was inspired by Korean boy bands GOT7 and BTS, but it was very similar to GOT7's "Just Right" video without permission. This upset K-pop fans. Lyta later clarified that he wasn't officially signed to Marlian Records, but Naira Marley was just supporting him. This led fans to ponder if He was really signed to Marlians Record at all. However, he wasn't promoted enough after that incident and it came to the conclusion that Hold Me Down was just a one time collaborative Help by Naira Marley to Lyta.
